INTEGRASE INHIBITION — Mechanism of Action

Divided into two sections, this unbranded film uses colorful animation with voice-over narration to illustrate 1) the mechanism by which HIV uses integrase to integrate its genetic material into the DNA of a human host cell, leading to viral replication, and 2) the mechanism by which integrase inhibitors block this integration, thus inhibiting viral replication and the infection of additional cells.
