Modifi Biosciences, Inc., a leader in the development of direct DNA modification enabled cancer therapeutics, announced that the company has been acquired by MSD (tradename of Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway, N.J., USA). MSD gained preclinical compounds designed to exploit DNA repair defects in difficult to treat cancers.
